The Alamitos Bay Yacht Club is competing for US Sailing’s St. Petersburg Trophy for our running of the Viper 640 World Championship. This trophy recognizes excellence in race management at an event. The award demands the highest proficiency in preparation, conduct, decision-making and execution of all race management functions while facilitating safe, fair and fun competition.
The trophy has been presented since 1968 and ABYC has previously won it on three occasions, one of which was the Snipe World Championship at which I was a competitor. Please help ABYC win this prestigious trophy again by completing the ballot and hopefully rating the regatta as excellent in all categories.
