Racers are reminded that if you win the jug for first over, the jug must contents must be consumed in the Great Hall. Taking it back to your boat puts the club's liquor license at risk. And while you're up celebrating why not order some food and more libations?

Boats participating in the race on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, or other races in Series 1 will only have their score displayed for Series 1 races and overall once the boat has a complete entry of: 1. Registered, which has been done as you are receiving this email. 2. Demonstrate compliance with the Queen City Yacht Club Concussion Management Policy and Concussion Codes of Conduct for the Person-in-Charge (PiC) – see https://qcyc.ca/hse/concussion 3. Ensure the Club Office has a copy of a liability insurance certificate for the boat that is current and enforce. Once all three items are in place and that fact has been communicated to the QCYC Scoring Team, a boat’s score will be shown for all races in the series. Any boat racing in PHRF that does not have a current PHRF-LO certificate valid for racing, will be assigned a best guess PHRF-LO rating increased by the value listed in the Notice of Race. If and when the boat obtains a current PHRF-LO certificate valid for racing, the rating assigned will be used to recalculate and rescore the races sailed. Thank you for registering for QCYC Club Racing. To be scored, you must have: 1. Registered – which you have done as you are receiving this email. 2. Paid all entry fees for the event. No fees for Wednesday Racing 3. Indicated that Person-in-Charge (PiC) has reviewed and accepted the QCYC Concussion Management Policy and Codes of Conduct (only have to do once annually) - www.qcyc.ca/hse#Concussion 4. Maintain current sufficient insurance with a copy of the insurance certificate on file with the QCYC Office. Please remember that completing number 3, Concussion, is two-step process. You must click on the first email you receive as a response to verify its you, otherwise your acceptance will be cancelled after 24 hours. The list of all competitors that have fulfilled all the criteria for Wednesdays is here: www.qcyc.ca/sites/default/files/Race_results/2024/2024clist.htm. It may take a day to process all the required items for a complete registration. Once your registration is complete, you will be scored retroactively for any races you competed in.
