Stripe's Instant Bank Payments is a novel payment method within that helps reduce payments processing costs and allows your competitors to register and check out with their US bank accounts. Payments are then confirmed instantly and settle in two business days—just like card payments.  Starting on December 20, 2024, you are able to offer the option to pay with a US bank account via Instant Bank Payments.. When your competitors choose to pay with their US bank account, payments will appear as type: "card" with brand: "link."

Instant confirmation and faster settlement: Transactions are confirmed immediately and authorized payments are guaranteed to settle into your account within two business days, the same timeline as cards. 
Protection from ACH failures: Stripe guarantees payments against all bank-initiated returns like insufficient funds.
Frictionless checkout: Instant Bank Payments are built in so customers only have to save their bank account information once—for all future transactions, Link instantly populates their saved bank details so they can check out faster.
Stripe-funded incentives: To boost your conversion and revenue, you’ll have the option to provide cash back offers to customers who pay with Link, all fully funded by Stripe.  |
