The Racing Rules of Sailing for Sailors Seminar is presented in two, three hour sessions. I prefer over two or more days since there is a great deal of material in each session.

Session 1 - Develop an understanding of the Rules of Part 2, Sections A, B and D. Discuss several other rules which impact racing: 31, 43, 44.
Session 2 - Develop an understanding of the Rules of Part 2, Section C.

Each PowerPoint session has companion Instructor Notes in PDF. I recommend that you print the instructor notes and follow as you work through the presentation. Also, each PowerPoint session has a companion Student Handout in PDF that you should send to students in advance of the training. Ask them to print the Student Handout and bring to the seminar.

I bring the seminar on my laptop to events. If there is a postponement due to weather, I'll ask the OA or Class if they want to talk about the rules and the answer has always been yes.
