Competitors - are multiple email addresses supported?
Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to add multiple email addresses to a competitor? At any point where the system would normally send an email to a competitor it would then send emails to both (all) emails associated with that competitor.
Sorry if I've missed this somewhere in the documentation. I also tried simply using comma separated lists in the email input, but this is rejected by the validator in the forms

The application only allows one email per competitor entry. If you want to add an email address to the notifications list, use the Contacts section. Any address added there will receive all the general notifications sent to competitors.

Just to check my understanding - people listed under contacts will receive messages where the audience is "Everyone", but there isn't a way to associate a contact with a competitor so they also get the more specific messages?

That is correct. Only the competitor email receives specific messages about protests or inquiries.

Speaking as a former Opti parent, I think it would be great to make it *easy* to add multiple email addresses per competitor. Often, for each Opti sailor, you might have two parents and a coach who might want to get notified by email. That's three emails. Yes, there's a workaround as Paul describes, but it doesn't sound like it's easy to figure out.
