Only the next five events, ordered by start date, appear in the upcoming events on the home page.  Your event is properly created and active.  But do not rely on competitors using the home page for reference to your event.  You should use the Notice of Public Links document and publish a link to your event in your NOR and SI's.

I confirm, the link to the Official Notice Board is both on the NoR and SI (never rely on the competitors doing more than what you instruct them to do - perhaps they tend doing less - BTW, I'm a competitor myself ;-)
