The bottom left field: „Rules alleged to be broken“ This field, while needed for the standard wording of [NP], is no longer mandatory to fill out. See RRS 60.3.
The usual advice, to write any rule even if it’s a wrong one, is no longer needed.
You may want to adjust the standard form to reflect that this is an optional field or school your raceoffice desk personal.
I agree with Hans- it is no longer needed so should be listed as optional. I can see how it could be helpful though, when included, to have a more streamlined way of protestors informing the PC of how they feel they were wronged.
In the previous quad, the only information required at the time of filing a protest hearing request, (delivered in writing, to the race office, within the PTL) was
Identify the incident
... all other info could be supplied prior to the hearing or during the hearing
In the current quad, they added only 2 items to the requirement.
Identify the incident
Identify the protestor
Identify the protestee.
All other information, though nice for the PC to have, is optional unless the NOR/SI properly change RRS 60.3.
